Working Wednesdays - How to Personalize your Wedding Favors

FAVORS
Favors may be the single easiest thing to customize and personalize for your entire wedding. Spend some time thinking about how to thank your guests for spending the day with you. They have traveled, given up their afternoon or evening, and most likely bought a gift to celebrate your marriage. The favor is something to show thanks (in addition the the thank you notes you must send out later) and is a way to express gratitude in a way that is unique to you and yours. Give candy if you have serious sweet tooth issues. Give pictures if you are a picture person, if you love to read, give little books of "Love" quotes. Make your favors if you want to put extra time into them. Make sure that however you thank your guests, it is something that they will be able to associate with you, personally.
A little extra thought can go a long way into making your wedding day a day that is truly your own, and not just another cookie cutter wedding.
